The ANC’s former president Jacob Zuma is no longer a member of the party he served for more than six decades.
Zuma was fired by the ANC in July for endorsing the MK Party (MKP) ahead of the country’s general elections in May. ANC secretary-general Fikile Mbalula told News24 on Wednesday that the former president had not appealed his expulsion within the 21 days given to him to do so.
Zuma joined the ANC as a teenager in 1959.
